The High Point Enterprise Newspaper published an article entitled, "Super Readers" on January 19, 2017. Kirkman Park Elementary School in High Point, North Carolina received a gift for $15,000 worth of books from the Tybro Foundation. The article talked about how the foundation's gift has helped to boost the Kirkman Park library. The school's library was in desperate need of updated books to help supplement the curriculum as well as fun reading books for the student.
The students identified by their teachers as "super readers" got the first chance to select from 850 new books on Wednesday morning at the school's library. The Tybro Foundation officers were there to join in on the festivities and to see the smiling faces of eager students that know someone cares.
